I don't know the Madcat. But if you are looking for a small mic, you could
also consider the 'Harmonica Honker'

have a good range of tone possibilities. Some years ago there was a mic
comparison in 'Planet Harmonica', at

much better then the shaker Madcat. But, as the author says, it's a
subjective matter.
